after that she said it was over. But then few weeks she text me saying that she loved me and could stop thinking bout me. She also said that she doesnt know what to do and that she needs "more space". I am not violent and not a heavy drinker but i must have flipped and cant remember doing it. It is totally wrong to hit a girl and i admit I have a problem now. She knows she can trust me again if discontinue drinking. i am going to wait till she contacts me if ever. what are the chances of getting her back.?

Well, first of all, sober up, get to a meeting on a regular basis, and do a great deal of introspection. You already realize what you did is wrong, now start correcting the problem...when you're clean for 3 months, give her a call and ask if you can meet for coffee, walk in park, etc. Tell her what you've said her, plus what you've learned while examining the type of person you were while drinking as opposed to the person you are now. I'm sure she will like the person you are now a lot more than the person you used to be. You have to prove yourself to her...and don't forget to apologize for hitting her....you will need to earn her respect and trust back...but you can do it. Good Luck.

good excuse... I was drunk so I didn't mean to hit her what will your next excuse be I don't remember sleeping with someone or I didn't mean to sleep with that someone because I was drunk. If you don't know what you are doing when you are drunk or become abusive when drunk why are you drinking it isn't the most important thing in life is it ? If you are an alcoholic how can she ever trust you unless you join AA and never drink again. One drink is as bad as 12 drinks if you have a drinking problem.

Drinking's the problem. If you can't remember doing it, than you don't need to drink if you like this girl. You probably will have to make yourself up to her.
I would choose the girl, if I were you, but I don't know anything about either of you, or how you feel for her. If you want her back, and she's worth it. Quit Drinking.
I've had a rough past, so if my husband hit me, it'd be over...As much as I love him, I just can't handle that again..

If she is smart she will never see you again. If you admit you have a problem and go get some anger management,it will help with everyday life!! and you will be the better for it. after you have done this she may want to date again. And Never Never drink what ever it was you were drinking again. some drinks do strange things to people. coming from a bartender

If she's calling or texting you now chances are you've already got her back. On that note you won't have to give up drinking or hitting her. If you cared about your problem then you'd get help for you regardless if you got her back. Tell her your sorry that you will never do it again,tell her that you will stop drinking ,for her then go to the bar get drunk and slap her around awhile. she might get mad but she will be back for more.

If you can show her that this will never happen again, it will improve your chances. I think you have a fairly decent shot, as it's only happened once, while drunk, and she still has feelings for you. Definetly discontinue the drinking. That will do so much to show her that you care about her more than anything and didn't want to hurt her.

We don't know her or you so can't say what your chances are...perhaps if you do stop drinking, are sincerely sorry, and she does have feelings for you, it's possible...
If you ever hit her again though, she needs to call the cops on you...alcohol is no excuse for poor or unacceptable behavior...everyone makes mistakes, but in this case, 2 strikes and you should be OUT...

The fact that you admit your mistake and are accountable for it give you a good chance of getting her back. You're absolutely right to give up drinking as it proves to her that you're willing to make sacrafices to keep her and prevent something like this from happening again.

Don't wait for her to contact you. Let her know how much you care about her and also that you know you have an issue and that you are addressing it. Kudos for taking steps to get help; it's hard to admit when you do something really wrong like that.

YOU HAVE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! You hit her! You jerk!(forgive me!just a little out burst!) Well...I'd say give her 3 weeks of space and say your REALLY sorry..... by buying something nice 4 her! Hmmmm...maybe roses or something exspensive! Thats a good way your saying you love her! When you buy a girl something exspensive your basicly telling her that she's priceless to you! GOOD LUCK!!
