ladies, Does the way a man talk, or his accent have any bearing on the?

Decision you make when first meeting, ...so ask yourself when meeting a man for the first time does his accent or the way he talks have any importance to you... does it put you off him, or are accents a real knock out to your senses? or is it just things like personality, looks, the way he's dressed, smells etc.....that you go for?......

Well, I have to confess, I love a man who's got a gravelly voice, I want a man who sounds like a man, and yes, all the other factors you mentioned to play into physical attraction. The voice is very important, I couldn't be with someone who sounds like a cartoon character.

For me, yes. I like a man who speaks nicely, not too loud or boastful, and I also like men with accents.

My first husband was English (so am I), my second husband is Dutch (oooh... I love the way he talks to me!)

I think you have to like the way your man looks, dresses (although we can influence that!) smells and talks, but personality is probably the bigest factor for me - I like a sense of humour.

Honestly, before I got married, I was a sucker for a British accent. I also noticed a man's smile before anything else.

Oh yes mine is Scottish and I can sit for hours and listen to him...mmmm way hot.
The way a man carries himself... his style of dress, grooming and the way he smells...that works for me.
Personality goes a long way looks aren't as important it's the way he treats me the way he speaks to me and the way he touches me.
I'd rather have a man in touch with his feelings any day

My hubby has a pretty thick southern accent--and I was attracted by that even before I found all his great qualities!
