I suggest you find something that you will enjoy doing. Something that might help you in whatever you decide you want to do in the future? I wanted to be a Teacher so I decided to work as a Teacher's aide for my first job. If you like animals consider animal sitting, working at a shelter or vet, or even a grooming place. Retail is always good. There are so many jobs out there and people willing to hire on young people. If you are just needing money and don't care then go for a fast food place.

The retail and fast food industries hire a lot of teenagers. I would reccomend starbucks b/c they give benifits (medical insurance) even if you work part time. But if you already have medical insurance any retail or fast food job will do.

Remember:
1. minimum wage is better that the $0 dollars an hour you get just sitting around the house.
2. you will need a job that fits around your school schedule (that's why retail and fast food is so good, b/c you can work in the evening and weekends)
3. retail & fast food places are more likely to hire someone with no experience.
4. any job gives you work experience to get a better job.

If you are under 16 might be hard for you find "job". however once you reach that age, places like McDonalds, Wendys and several other companies will be happy to hire you, especially during summer. At the age of 17 is even easier to find a job because most companies like waltmart, kmart and several other got this types of job requirements. However apply everywhere because some companies especially if you have recommendation would hire you even if you dont fullfill the age requirements. Good Luck and look for something that you like!!

The best place for a teenage girl to get a job would be at her favorite clothing store. It always worked out great for me.

seems the best ever job for a teenager has to be a video store. not much to do because let face it you have to go to school, clean your room, and do homework, you don't want a demamnding job, and you don't want to come home smelling like a bigmac!
