I'm a senoir in high school and I have found this girl I really like. I want to ask her to be my girlfriend. One problem is she may have a boyfriend, I know she did but I'm not 100% sure she still does. The 2nd problem is that I am always shy to the girls I like and never ask them out. This is my last year of high school and I may never see her after this if I dont do something. At a dance recently she kissed me on the cheek. I want to win her heart, how can
I do this? *Even though I'm shy I need to tell her, not write her or call her...
-Should I just tell her that I thinks she's beautiful, she's smart, and funny. That I love her smile and enjoy being around her. Then ask her to be my girlfriend.

You know how many relationships never happen because two people are shy???? Tons, then years later you run into each other and find that person you had a huge crush on had one on you....only now they are married to someone else and still thinks about what might have been. Do not let life slip through your hands. You have to go for it, grab the ring and take a chance. It is better to be rejected and at least know how someone else felt rather than forever wonder......and trust me, it will be forever that you look back with regret because you didn't tell someone how you felt.
She likes you or she wouldn't have kissed your cheek....that was sweet.....and she knows you're shy, thats why she wouldn't embarass you by kissing you full on the lips in public....which means she is considerate too.
Find her at lunch or the next time you see her at school and just ask her if she is seeing anyone.....ask her directly not someone else. If she is you can say something like, I was afraid of that....that will let her know you are interested.....if she isn't you can ask her out....preferably a real date or out for coffee. I say coffee because its usually a comfortable environment without expectations, its a great place to talk and get to know someone.....after having a nice long conversation you won't feel nervous around her.

First of all...DONT sing that song: 1.you dont know if she likes boys singing 2 her and 2.She might not want 2 go out with you after that! Well...if she kissed you on the cheak then she likes you! Well...just spend more time with her and talk to her a lot 2. So about 1 week or 2 you can ask her out on a date! I bet shell say yes! Just cut your losses...quite being shy! You have to get over it sooner or later and I'd say nows a GREAT time 2 get over it! I used to be sooooooooooo shy last year and look at me now! NOT shy and I'm happy about it!

I hear ya fella.... I had the same problem (although I'm a girl too and I didn't know if she was... ya know.... ;-) so imagine my shyness!!! But smile alot and talk to her.... initiate a little contact... a touch of the arm... if she reciprocates... maybe there's something there! but the last thing you want to do is go for broke... you leave yourself open for a knockback and you'll spoil any chances of friendship!!
And if she's upset.... or randomly in pain (as in on her period....) give her a big hug and offer to make ginger tea!!!! Then she'll know you're a keeper!!!

Try talking to her, become her friend so that you'll be more comfortable talking to her. After awhile if she hasn't mentioned she's with anybody ask her if she has a boyfriend or not. If she says yes shrug it off, there are hundreds of other girls out there. If she says no ask her to a movie or dinner.

Okay. I understand what you mean.. You like her ..right ? So ask her..if she does to.. you could write her a note or send her an email .. or mabye ask a friend if she has a b/f..and if she kissed you on the cheek ..it got to mean something so dont lose a chance to meet someone that could be your soul mate...
