I would say gay people are not born that way.Their environment has caused them to be attracted to the same sex as theirs.So first of all people need to know that being gay is not a sin, nor it is evil.And also it's not a mental illness.It's the way you feel.It's The way you fullfil your sextual needs.There's absolutely nothing you could do to change your feelingsA feeling is not a sin.My best friend is a gay because he hadn't talked to many men when he waas a child.And he's a very good and kind person,very clever and honest.So being gay is not a sin by itself.The way you choose to fullfil your sexual needs determins wether you commit sins or not.Gay people must agree that in God's law gay-marriage and sexual affairs between men is a mortal sin.But this rule goes for hetrosexual people too when they tend to commit evil deeds such as pre-marriage sex.It's against God's law and a mortal sin.But unfortunately some people think because their government allows them to do so it's OK while it's not in God's law.I think no one has the right to hate gay people because they haven,t chosen to be that way.Gay people are just like hetrosexual people as long as they don't commit sins.In my mind some hetrosexul people must be blamed for the way the way they choose to fullfil their needs such as pre-marriage sex.So you'll go to heaven if you live honestly and not to let your sexual feelings to control you and make you commit sins.Thanks.

I dont think any rational, thinking person thinks being gay is a sin. But sexual acts outside of marriage are sin, in most religions.

If you read the bible you would see why people say being Gay is a Sin. It clearly states this in the Bible. But just because we say being Gay is a sin, doesn't however mean that we hate gays. I don't understand why not promoting or accepting sinful behaviors has to be considered a HATE for that person or persons. As a Christan, we are to love everyone, just as God loves everyone. You can love someone WITHOUT accepting their life style.
The other thing you mentioned was it's a feeling, how they fulfill their sexual desire. Does this go for adults having a desire for children? I would hope not, and this too would be a sin! Not every sexual desire people have should be considered normal or okay. Sex was a gift from God to the Married couple. All other sexual desires are either sinful or unnatural.
Yes, your right. Many heterosexual people commit sexual sin every day. Society gears people into these type of behaviors by all of the inappropriate junk on T.V, movies, magazines and just about anywhere you look. Is this an excuse for sinning? NO!
WE can't just accept and promote all the evil in the world - the bible says we must live in this world, but not be of this world.

And you know it's wrong in God's eyes and yet keep doing it you ARE letting your sexual desires take control over you ..so in effect you are a slave to your sexual desires and yes you are sinning....and even if you claim you are in control of them..........you continue to do things against God's laws but yet not changing your behavior....sin.
People can learn that something is against God's standards/laws and so if they want to serve God honestly they can change...
You realize that just because people claim to be religious but they do wrong that they will pay the consequences? That is no excuse to do wrong or try to okay a wrong just because someone 'over there' is doing it!
Especially if you know it's wrong in God's eyes and keep doing it making excuses for your actions.......it is not good. The person needs to repent, repent, repent..ask for forgiveness and change their life style.
Certainly find yourself a religion that OBEYS God's commandments!!
There is one out there...that follows what the bible says and NOT man's thinking or false religions made up beliefs....and if you earnestly pray for guidance to find it...you will. Keep your eyes open and if you are shown the truth from the bible grab it while you can......Isaiah 55:6
And when they come around to you and hand you a religious tract that is being distributed worldwide about false religon......take it read it and talk to them .....

Unfortunately, the Bible does stipulate that men shall not lie with other men. This would be the very definition of being gay. So being gay is breaking God's rules which is the definition of sin. You can't just say that straights are sinning so you are not sinning. That is a logical fallacy called 'Tu Quoque', which just means that 'you guys are just as bad'. Child predators and organizations like NAMBLA, raving queens, the drug scene and kinky sex among others get lumped in with gayness and reduce it further to be seen as a yucky seedy lifestyle. People like that Foley guy who got caught with his 'texting' going after a young boy is seen as proof that gays are actively promoting their lifestyle to youth.
You want the fringe crazies, who might bomb abortion clinics with no more Biblical approval than, "Whatsoever you do to the least of mine...etc." , you want them to get off your case.... GOOD LUCK, you are gonna need it!!!!?
