Bacon Wrapped Smokies

1 Pkg Little Smokies
Lean Bacon
Juice from canned pineapple
Brown Sugar
Dijon Mustard
Hickory smoke flavoring
Toothpicks

Cut each strip of bacon into three sections. place on baking sheet.
Wrap around Smokies.

Put about 1C brown sugar in a skillet, add a small amount of pineapple juice (you want a thick sauce)
Add 3 - 4 sprinkles of smoke flavor
add 1T mustard
simmer until sauce is thick and bubbly

Place bacon wrapped smokies under the broiler turning often so as not to burn. Broil until bacon is brown. Drizzle sauce over smokies, reduce oven temp to 350 and bake for about 5 minutes.

Place on serving tray sprinkle with crushes pineapple.

Last holidays, my guests ate these up so quickly I just made more sauce and put the smokies (sans bacon) in the sauce on the stove top and cooked on high heat until they were done.

Trust me these will be a hit.

Shrimp toast

Spread cream cheese on a cracker ( your choice of what kind) then add a dollop of cocktail sauce and top with a shrimp (without tail and the pre-cooked kind). Serve and enjoy!
