"Live in such a way that those who know you but don't know God will come to know God because they know you."

I hope that those who know me can see HIM reflected in my life. I am sure I fall short much of the time but that is my hope.

Peace Be With You,
Debra

A Christian is what? Christ-Like.

A Christian is ONLY like Christ in ONE way. How is that? They will "Descend" to heaven upon death, just like Christ did. "Love" is the Greatest "act" of Christ. Being a Christian, a person can show their Christ_likeness through "love". NO other way. We are not Jesus. We can only do what Jesus did best. What is this? "Love". Agape.

There is 6 different types of "love" in the Bible. "Agape" love is the "love" from God Himself. Nobody else can ever get or experience this type of love.

When a person shows "love" through, Charitable, Benevolence,Phileo, It is reflecting Jesus Christ, in HIS name.

Can a person see Christ in a person who believes in Christ? Probably not. Believing in Christ is not a Christian. Believing ON Christ is a Christian. You say: Thats the same thing? No. It is not.

A person can believe "in" a chair, and never sit in it. You have to believe "ON" that chair enough, to feel it won't fold up when you do sit in it.

So simply "believing", is not a Christian.

Great Q*

yes i do but many people dont admit thought, or if they do admit they do it very lightly, many people justify their lives and their wrongs in their lives and when they look at a true christian, ususally they ignore you, but usually they will persecute you in one way or another because they are jealous of what you have they want to hang on to their sin and have what you have, that the main thing here, the usuall common sins that people like and think they are just cute little innocent things are gossip which is an abomination, which also includes manipulation, other sins too are pretending to be holy and acting friendly just to gain aproval from people and things like that, and we all stuggle with this but we are to seek god on this, many people dont.

Peace and blessings unto you Debra:

I sure hope so... I live my life for God... all I do is about God... I thank God when I wake up, when I leave my house, when I brush my teeth, when I eat, when I work, when I sleep. I try to leave a good life, helping others being useful, following God's commands and giving to charity... I hope one day only with the mercy of God I go to heaven, but I am not perfect and I am ignorant, but I hope God guides me and inshallah I am good enough ....

People who are true Christians, in their lives, others can see Jesus Christ The Lord, in their heart. That is why atheists neglect Christians today.

Well it depends... if you see Hitler's action you can find the devil who manipulate men even with the support of the church...

but if you documetaries on mother theresa's works, then you will find the determination she had to help people inspired by god..

I think what that means is live your life for you and your Higher Power and not for others.

my dad always said, " I would rather see a good sermon than here one. " whatever dad did he did without caring if anyone saw what he did or not.
