in any language you like , the important thing is to come from your heart
it doesn't matter any language as Allah ( swt) said in quran ( 5. The Most Beneficent (Allah) Istawâ (rose over) the (Mighty) Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty).

6. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth, and all that is between them, and all that is under the soil.

7. And if you (O Muhammad SAW) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden. )

and also Allah said ( 186. And when My worshipers ask you (O Muhammad SAW) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright )

Arabic is considered better because they were originally written in Arabic, so it conveys the entire meaning best. However, if you are not fluent in Arabic, your own language is fine. How can you really, sincerely pray, if you do not know the meaning of what you are saying?

You should try to read it in Arabic with a good understanding of what it means in your own language. If you dont know Arabic you can make dua in your own language inshaallah

When you are reciting dua's you are asking Allah to accept them, so it would be better to recite them in your language. Because when you ask Allah in the language that you understand you will be more concentrated in your dua and you can ask Allah for the things that you couldn't otherwise.

However it will be best if you know the meanings of the dua's that you are reciting in Arabic. Because arabic dua's will have the verses from the Quran, and it's always better to ask Allah with the words that He has talked to us in Quran.

And Allah knows best.
