Sell without tax, or get insured via a local agent use the cover note and cancel the insurance.
Either that or ask a garage or car dealer as they may be willing to help you out for a back-hander

If you intend to sell the car then the buyer will surely want to test drive it,so for your own benefit it should be insured anyway. Some companies will insure for one month, check them out.

Short answer, Not Easily. Plus if you did, the Police with their photo/video vans would soon be getting a 'Yabdaba Doo' from their system because tax, insurance & MOT are recorded at the DVLA which they have instant acces to.

As stated you can't. It should be up to the buyer to get one, if you feel you can sell it better, then reduce the price for the cost of 6 months tax.
