The Bush administration's handling of "weapons of mass destruction". This term had not been used previously. Most of what was claimed was false, and known to be false.

Many of the political statement posted on this site in the form of questions should be considered propaganda. There is left and right wing propaganda all through this site. Changes are if there is a link on a page or a cut and paste from a link it is someone's propaganda.

Propaganda is what you see and hear on the Fox "News" channel every single day. Propaganda is what you hear spew from Rush Limbaugh's poison, drug-infested mouth every single day. It's lies, half-truths, distortions, fabrications, and verbal toxic waste that hate-mongers spread to brainwash people into believing or accepting their viewpoints without regard for others' points of view. Rush Limbaugh and the Fox "News" channel are perfect examples of Nazi-inspired propaganda. If they aren't muzzled soon, it's only a matter of time before they will persuade people to think it's 'acceptable' to hate and even kill non-Christians, Jews, liberals, homosexuals, Muslims, cross dressers, mentally-retarded youth, homeless people, or anyone else that doesn't fit the conservative-biased media's vision of the "perfect race".
America is supposed to be a melting pot of people with different backgrounds, religions, sexual persuasions, talents, incomes, languages, cultures, political preferences, and cultures. Instead the conservative-biased media wants to turn us all into ditto heads who will believe whatever the government says, and do whatever the government tells us to do. Brainwashing should be a treasonable offense, and those who spread their vile, evil vulgarities deserve to be put on trial for crimes against humanity. -RKO-

Let's define it first: 1) The systematic propagation of a doctrine or cause or of information reflecting the views and interests of those advocating such a doctrine or cause.
An excellent example of MILITARY Propaganda would have been the USA propagating the information (on CNN and such) of the testing of the MOAB (Massive Ordnance Air Burst) Bomb prior to invading Iraq... The propagation of that information cause the Iraq Army to wet their collective pants and FOLD... therefore making our initial conquest of Iraq much simpler and less expensive in lives.
A "GOOD" example would be the propagation of the doctrine that "READING IS FUNDAMENTAL"...
Now if we can only enforce a doctrine that "SPELLING is fundamental" !!
Good question, simple question

Every time a U.S. docks at Gitmo, the Cuban newspapers put a picture of the ship on the front page and proclaim that a U.S. invasion is coming. The Venezuelan president is saying the same thing now.
