New Testament
Romans 1: 24 - 25
Because they did these things, God left them and let them go their sinful ways, wanting only to do evil. As a result, they became full of sexual sin, using their bodies wrongly with each other. They traded the truth of God for a lie.
Romans 1:26 Women stopped having natural sex and started having sex with other women. 27 - In the same way, men stopped having natural sex and began wanting each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and in their bodies they received the punishment for those wrongs.
This is only a couple of verses that address homosexuality in the bible. Clearly it states that this type of relationship is a sin. The bible goes on to say that they rebel against God.
With this said, only God knows who makes it into heaven. We can not be the judge of someone else ,only ourselves.
We know from the bible that homosexuality is a sin, but the bible also makes it clear that all have sinned, and fall short.
On the other hand, we can judge behaviors of other and choose to accept those behaviors or not . The bible talks about this also.
Romans 1:32 says They know Gods law says that those who live like this should die. But they themselves not only continue to do these evil things, they applaud others who do them. From this scripture we can see that what We accept and promote is very important to our walk with the Lord. This is why many christians Don't support homosexualtity. We can't support something that God says is wrong. But again, it's not limited to this sin, it's all sins....
The sin itself is the problem, not the person. As a christian you should love everyone, not just the ones that fit into your lifestyle.
God loves all, and so should we. God bless.

The ONLY THING that KEEPS PEOPLE out of Heaven-------is NOT GETTING THEIR SPIRIT RECREATED by Believing WHO JESUS said HE WAS.
Thats it.
Sodom and Gormorah--------religion has told you that GOD Destroyed those Cities because the People were GAY.
NO WAY.
Reality (GOD) said that if 10 Righteous People coulda been Found in Those Cities, HE WOULD NOT OF DESTROYED THEM.
Those People were doing alot of Other Sins too.
That is the Key to Understanding the Destruction of Those Cities.
Those People had gone so FAR AWAY from GOD by Sinning all Kinds of Sins, becomnng so Evil and Wicked, that they would NEVER EVER TURN BACK to GOD and do GOOD.
Nothing Else Left but to Put Them out of Their Misery. (Mercy of GOD).
Just like when an Animal gets so messed up (run over by car?) there is nothing Else left to do. Mercy. Humane.
GOD will SAVE (Recreate Their Spirits for Them) all GAY PEOPLE who TURN TO HIM.
GOD is Just That Kind and Good.
THEN, GOD will help Those People Figure Themselves OUT, you know, help them to Understand how they got Messed Up when they Entered the Earth to Be Born.
Those People were O.K. till they Entered the Earth that Adam let Satan, the Curse and Sin into.
Don't be Too Hard on Adam, We woulda' Probably Ate from that Tree Too.

The way that you go to Heaven is to:
1) believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, that He came to earth to be the sacrifice for our sins (and believe it in your heart).
2). Confess to Jesus that you don't want to do life without Him anymore and ask Him to come into your heart.
3). Confess that you are a sinner and ask for His forgiveness (by the way, we're ALL sinners and those who have heterosexual sex before marriage are the same sinners as those who have homosexual sex - according to the Bible....Jesus said all sin is the same and equal).
4). beleive that Jesus forgave your sins.
According to the New Testament and Jesus Himself, this is the way to Heaven. Once you make this step, then you can begin a relationshipship with God, day by day. Pray to Him, talk to Him - you & Him will sort out your life and your sexual issues/questions.
Some Christians falsely misrepresent God by being judgemental and harsh. True, the Bible forbids homosexual sex (just as it forbids sex outside of marriage), but God is love and He is not honored when "HIS PEOPLE" forget to show His heart in a situation.
It's true that as Christians, we are to love the sinner but hate the sin. So if you have been mistreated by anyone who called themselves a follower of God, then I apologize on behalf of all true Christians and on behalf of God.
If you'd like to talk more, please feel free to email me.
Jesus truly does love you - no matter what you've done or not done. If we could earn our way to heaven by our good deeds, works or actions - then let me tell you how EMPTY heaven would be. It's all by God's grace - not us. We are all unworthy.
God bless you.

Ask that family member if a heterosexual will go to heaven if they look at a woman with lust in their eyes.
People who are homophobic project their personal problems into their faith. Let me put it this way. Lets say heaven is an island 100 miles off of the coast and you and Michael Jordan are both going there. You decide to go there on your own so you both jump. Air Jordan jumps 10 feet into the water and you jump 6 feet. Who is going to make it? Neither of you. You are going to need a boat. That boat is Jesus Christ. Gay/Straight//Tall/Short/Fat/Skinny We all fall short and we aint going to heaven. With Jesus no one can keep us out of Heaven.. Get it?
And may GOD richly bless you.

They are talking about the Laws of the Levites in the Old Testament.
They only way a " gay " person would not go to heaven is if they have sex with some one they not married to and don't repent for it. People don't go to hell just because a person is gay. They follow the same rules as the rest of us.

Just listen to your family and stay away from that lifestyle
and
the answer to your question:
1 Corinthians 6:9-Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders
I think this states it quite clear. Trust me, I've met homosexuals, and majority are miserable with their life.
Faith in Jesus, prayer, and patience should help open your eyes and enlighten you about things you dont understand
God Bless

If someone continues to live their life in a way that the Bible defines as being immoral then when their life ends they will not be going to Heaven. If during the course of their life they make a u-turn and ask Jesus to come into their heart so that they can be freed from being a slave to the desires of their flesh then they will be going to Heaven.
"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11

While Paul writes to the Chuch of God in Corinth that "the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Cor 6:9-10), it is important to understand also that we who are in Christ are sanctified, even though we have not yet been made completely holy. And so all of us have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but our destiny is holiness. This is why Paul opened his letter to the Corinthians, who were doing all of these things at the time, and referred to them as "sanctified" ("To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ—their Lord and ours:")
It is important not to confuse this, however, with the doctrine of the Nicolaitans which God tells us he hates in Revelation 2, which holds essentially that God's grace is a license for sexual immorality. For though Christ makes all things new and forgives us for our past sins, this is not to say that there also are not inevitable consequences for sin. For this reason Jesus said to His disciples, who were believers saved by His grace, "If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.” (Matt 5:29)
If you have someone you love who is practicing homosexuality, the best thing you can do is to lead him to the truth, for the "truth will set you free"!

I don't know if they will or not, because I'm not a Christian and I don't read the Bible. But here's the kicker: The people who have so much fun bashing gays (and then using the Bible as a crutch for their obnoxious comments) probably won't be going to heaven either.

First, understand that God loves the homosexual as much as the heterosexual.
But homosexuality is a sin as it states in the Old Testament. But Jesus came to forgive us of sin. The Homosexual can go to Heaven if He renounces his sin and accepts Christ as His savior.
