If he doesn't respect you then what is the attraction? You deserve to be with someone who appreciates you and honours you! Do let yourself be stuck with a loser.

Yes it's hard when someone is so set in his/her ways. Have you tried to explain to your boyfriend how you feel? That he doesn't respect you like YOU need to be respected? Sometimes the other person doesn't understand or know how YOU need to be treated. If you can have this discussion with your boyfriend in a "safe" environment (meaning he doesn't feel like you're attacking him) and he can try to relate to how you are feeling, that that's great! It's a start to him wanting to respect your feelings. And I think it's good to know that it goes both ways too. There may be some things that he may want you to be open to as well.
I do think though that if a boyfriend is not willing to listen and understand your needs too, then he's not worthy of you.

If he doesn't respect you now, he neverwill. Respect cannot be taught. You could try talking to him and let him know how you feel and if that doesn't change anything then take his lack of respect as a warning sign and leave the relationship now.

If you do not feel respected you either need to have a long talk about it or move on. You should never be with someone who doesn't respect you.

If he doesn't respect you then you don't need to waste your time with him. When someone is set in their ways there is little you can do to chnage them. Find someone that will respect you and stop wasting your time.
