Greasy food, a fry up, some eggs, sausages or bacon, toast & butter. A greasy hamburger. He should have had a very large glass of water before bed as well, to help with the dehydration. grapes, oranges & v8 will just burn his stomach more. Also an aspirin will help get over the aches & pains. NOT TYLENOL tylenol has very damaging side effects to the liver, taking tylenol while drinking or for hangover can cause liver damage.

One thing that will work if his stomach is very upset and he is vomiting is to put some salt in the bottom of a small glass and add club soda or can try ginger ale that is room temperature(this is better I find). other than that i have a craving for good old greasy foods as in burger and fries and this helps alot as long as he has reached the point where it will stay down. Just don't ask me why this works for me but it does. Good Luck!!!! Oh by the way I forgot to say to drink the salt and ginger ale down in one fast drink.

No oranges or V8! The acid in them is very upsetting.
He needs LOTS of water, and food should be on the level of toast and eggs - easy to digest

Loads of seltzer or tonic (quinine), plus lots of water, some salt and gatorade. Light foods like grapes (as you mentioned) and celery. Burnt toast is good too.

when i drink i always take like a tylenol or asprin like an hour before i go to bed. i quit drinking and i begin to drink water. (maybe like one large bottle) that helps me avoid a hangover. but what else helps when you actually wake up up with one is tea from bojangles, im serious tea from Bojangles totally rehydrates the bod. =)
