Like the first posting says, John 3:16. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 is a great reassurance on love. Psalms 23 is excellent for strength and guidance. What are you looking for in a verse?

What ever problem you are having give it to the God. Like someone else said close your eyes open the bible point to the first versus and open your eyes and read. My suggestion is that you get to know your bible. Read a little of it each day asking God to give you the wisdom and knowledge to understand what you are reading and how it pretains to his will for you. Always remember this Keep your faith even faith the size of a mustard seed is all God asks us for.
