If so is it really anyone's place to put blame on anyone? If fate is real then everything is supposedly predetermined. How can you be mad at someone or put the blame on them when they had no control over their situation. Furthermore, how can anyone be rewarded or congratulated if it was already in the cards. This is like giving the Nobel Peace Prize to someone who simply won the lottery. It doesn't make any sense. Also if we can use fate to explain everything what does this trace back to? There must've been one triggering moment that set the ball in motion and since fate controls this figurative ball does anything really have any purpose aside from the "great" fate driven purpose?

Just an Awareness regards to Fate. You are about to commit suicide by jumping from a 30 storey building. Below you have all religions God standing asking you not to jump. At that moment who determines or choose what is your fate? Which God is ever more powerfull to determine if you jump and die. :)

For Me, I'm the God to determine My Fate. It is My Choice which controls My Fate if I choose to jump. You may wonder, then why belief in God above us. Does belief and praying to God controls your fate. Can any religions teaching Promise by belief and praying, it will change your fate immediately.

I know some may answer Yes their religion can. I believe every religion has someone suffering and children die-ing of hunger. Is that fate from above my friend. If you are God will you have such Plan for your children. I believe God's Love is ever vast then any human's expression.

Still unsure , now lets talk about something which you and I can be very sure. The only God which can change the Fate of the suffering is Us. When you take fate in your hand and something goes wrong, atleast you will have the honour of saying "I Did It My Way". Have Fun friend.

"There must've been one triggering moment that set the ball in motion and since fate controls this figurative ball does anything really have any purpose aside from the "great" fate driven purpose?"

Great question. All of them, in fact! But this part of your question was the aspect to the larger question on "fate" that jumped out at me.

I've come to the conclusion based on my reading a research, plus my personal experience, that we all come into this life with certain things in place. This is the fate component to the lives we live and it is founded in what we need to learn. But even with certain things being in place prior to birth, we still have the free will to handle it in any way we choose. It's the choices we make with the cards we've been dealt that can either elevate us to profoundly new understanding, keep us on the same level of understanding, or sink us even lower in our personal spiritual development. So yes. There is fate but there is free will and our choices based in this will that will determine the course we take with a particular life given. Bottom line - it's all up to you.

God does not control the destiny of men. He only watches us a we take our steps through life. My opinion is like yours, life is meaningless if everything was planned out. God might as well fast forward the whole world because he already knows what comes up next. Human beings take control of their own lives. Nothing guides them into a predetermined life. It is up to them to face every trial, every step of every single day that comes to them.

Some one hit the green a little early today!
Seriously though, I often wonder if God knows what we will do before we do it, do we really have free will?

Fate is like faith, you have to believe in both or none

I think the underlying query is: do we have free-will? or is everything planned by our fate?
