For me, we are in the development of sometime wonderful.
Our process my not suit those whom watch the clock, but see them self only as part of a much bigger picture.
The evolutionary state of humanity and its spirituality is now more consciousness than ever before and many now can see a transcending divinity taking place.
something very beautiful is happening, and we are all a small part of it. "we shall all transcend religion for something much more universal in its understanding"

First of all, look at what President Bush and the Pope are sayign and doing and tell me that they are not trying to go to war in the name of religion, they are asking for a new crusade, but that is besides the point.
Religion has harmed the world in general in so many ways, but the Middle East is so majorly linked to the major religions of the world today, that yes, I believe that if it wasn't for religion the Middle East would be more stable at the moment.
However, we must also look at everything those religions have done for the religion, leaving great stuctures and developments in the sciences and the arts. Perhaps the Middle East would be more stable and less people would die if religion didn't exist, but the Middle East would also lack all of the things that religion had given them.

No matter what religion you belong to, when attacked, you have a right to fight back.
The Islamic world has been torn apart by us and we blame them?!? This is very sad...
When Muslim countries go to war with Non-Muslim countries, it's almost never the Muslims who start it:
Christians and Agnostics and Atheists invaded Afghanistan
The same invaded Iraq
Jews invaded Lebanon (parts I and II), Egypt, Gaza, Palestine etc.
We all know what Milosevic did...
The British had their Coup in Iran
Funny? These weren't Muslims who started these wars were they? Do I need to give you more examples? Just ask... But first, I'd like to see how many recent wars between muslim and non countries were started by Muslims...

that's like attempting to make a case that the worldwide could be greater advantageous off devoid of love or honor or pastime. Many greater human beings (think of small scale) have been brutalized and stalked andvraped and murdered by ability of human beings claiming to be appearing interior the call of "love" than below the different pretense. whilst crimes are committed interior the call of love, human beings say, "properly, that person by no ability rather knew the meaning of love." Conversely, whilst crimes are committed interior the call of religion, each and every physique needs in charge faith. Why the double well-known?

Seriously, I would be interested to see not necessarily religion dying, but HOW it will die. By all probability it will be a tragic violent end (if you know how fanatical believers are about religion).
How Ironic isnt it that to stop people killing in the name of religion it will necessitate killing off even more people...
