Are emigrating and have to work out what to take.

hey we have just moved out here!! not sure about the telly but take your dvd player cause the dvd's you have from the uk may not work on the dvd's players unless you get a multi regional one!! we have bought our telly over hoping that it will work!! most things do work!!!! al you have to do is get an electrian to change the plugs over!!! and not you cause your not allowed to change them over here!!! good luck with you move hope you like it out here better than i do!! lol!!! your stuff take about a month to get out here!! but i would say you migt as well seel it and just get a new one out here!!

UK is in DVD zone 2 like the rest of Europe, but in Australia & NZ they got zone 4. TV there is PAL, so that should be ok.

Advice, take your zone 2 player if you take any zone 2 dvds you own, and then just buy a new zone 4 player there. They're very cheap.

Of course they will but you'll have to use power converters. DVDs you might be able to play if your player is a multi region. This web site will tell you if you player will let you watch different region disc's.

no i dont think so. i think they have region 4 dvd players, but i'm not postive.
