mash potato, cheese and carrot with chicken and gravy (lo-salt)
Make soup - sweet potato, two about fist sized, one onion, about a pint of veg stock, two leeks and one ordinary white potato. Chop sweet potato, onion and leeks into fairly small pieces and the white potato into larger pieces. Put everything in a pan and bring to the boil. Turn down to a simmer and leave for about 30-40 mins until white potato is cooked. It may need impurities skimming of the surface but other than that don't be tempted to stir. When white potato cooked add pepper to taste if required. Transfer to a liquidiser and partially liquidise. Serve warm with soft bread for your toddler and nice crusty white for yourself.
Enjoy!

You could try a little poached fish with creamed potatoes and then roughly mash some grenn peas, etc, I would not try smoked fish first, just plain cod, or haddock, the fish can be flaked so big lumps should not be a problem

mashed potato is always a favourite. Annabel Karmel has done a good book on baby food right up to pre-schoolers, I'm sure you can get it on Amazon, full of recipes which are quick and easy.

Boiled rice with pureed vegetables - carrot or peas or potatoes or beans. Adds color to the baby's plate and (hopefully) interest!

just puree all the food that you eat yourself . make sure not to add salt into the baby's portion. There are no foods that a young baby cant eat.

how about scrambled eggs, you can add ham and cheese to it and it is yummy, and you can make toasted cheese sandwiches and cut them into strips so they can feed themselves. Really anything you eat at this age is fine for them, just make sure you are cutting small and make sure they are chewing well. Good Luck!

Oreo in a Cloud
1 package of Oreo cookies
2 cups milk
16 oz non-dairy cool whip
Place milk in a bowl and dip Oreo cookies, I usually put 4 to 5 and let the milk absorb into the cookie.
Place the layer of cookies on a 9X13 pan. Top with cool whip repeat with cookies and finish off with non-dairy cool whip topping. Let refrigerate over night.
