Cigarette smoke is a very common allergen. Especially to asthmatics and small children, The children of smokers have a higher rate of asthma and allergies then children in non-smoking families, Think about it any thing that can cause CA not just lung but throat mouth esophagus and its 2nd hand smoke causes lung CA in non smokers it can for sure trigger an allergic reaction

Yes it is. Oddly enough I smoked for 20 years and after I quit, I developed an allergy to cigarette smoke. I get a monster head ache when I am around it.

though not common, some people can be allergic to smoke not just cigarette smoke..... ;)

If you were allergic to smoke, you would not be able to breathe if you drove behind a diesel truck or car. It's purely pyschological.
