I invited a nice girl from work over to my house for dinner. I haven't dated in awhile and I'd really like to make a good impression. What kind of wine goes good with spaghettio's?

To impress her:
Run across the kitchen towards the toasted bread she is holding, bite into it (this will make the "crunching" sound that a cartoon dog makes when biting into a bone). After biting it, dance around.
She'll love it!!

I realize that the spaghettios think was a joke, but I will answer this one for ALL men who want to impress a girl.
1. Humor-take things light, even if you are nervous...heck she may be nervous too.
2,. Do not try to impress SO MUCH. Instead of telling her all about you (and your MANY 'feats" of whatever) ask her questions. Show an interest..a real interest in her.
3. To really impress a girl do not talk about (on the way to trying to impress her) SEX, other girlfriends, any negatives about you.
I once had a promising date to be tell me all about his counseling sessions. I lost interest, not because he sought help, but because he told me before our first date.
In otherwords, you need to sell yourself. And if the date turns out to be a dud, at least you know that did what YOU needed to do to get her to notice you--in a positive way!
And btw, spaghettios and wine are like combining chicken nuggets and beer.
Yuck!!

first of all my advice is not to go with spaghettio's and wine :) what have you seen her eat at work what does she like what would be really romantic would be to find out what she likes make her favorites add candel light and soft music. girls like attention take it slow and leave the can foods to the kids :) good luck and take it slow.

An expensive french red would go down nice. Perhaps a nice white sparkling wine when she arrives? Arrange for a cab to pick her up and take her home and buy her flowers.

Grape juice goes good with that, but I suggest taking her to chinese and green tea.
