Definately lime if it is ordinary cola, lemon if it is diet. The whole idea of using a slice of lemon is normally to distinguish if the drink is diet or not.

Lemon is good and cherry better, but adding some lime adds kicks to your wetter,
Lemon is tart and cherry sweet, but add lime to your coke you nut, cause it is far better.
If you really want the best of the best taste - get crazy,
Mix them all together - unless you're too lazy!

lemons are best but what we do is slice the fruit ie lemons limes oranges etc freeze them and when you want a cool drink pop a frozen slice in great !!!!
