In this day and age as women we are constantly judged on how we look and what we wear. Not only do men do it to us but we do it to ourselves.Why when someone sees a muslim women they cant see further then the head cover?

Because anything that is different from what you know or do is foreign and the foreign is always looked on as bad. Or at least people are always afraid of what they do not understand.

perhaps but the real importance is what a person is like not the clothes. after the first initial meeting feel as though beauty is only skin deep and can be a distraction. give me a Lady with a good heart, soul and spirit against a beautiful physical appearance anytime. dad always said, " good looks don't last -- good cooking do. "

When in Rome, do as the Romans do. When Western women go to foreign countries, if head coverings are the norm, they do wear it. I cannot for the life of me understand why Muslem women in UK insist on wearing the veil. Instead of averting my gaze, it attracts me in a curious way and I am inclined to stare. If Asian women are not wearing a veil, I honestly do not notice them. So, in fact, in my case, the veil attracts..............
