I have a very serious question here, yesterday was the Jewish holiday of Simcha Torah, and this was the first time since Yom Kippur that I went to synagogue. Nothing major was happening, just a bunch of people reading short selections from the Torah, and all of a sudden I had a very strange feeling, as if all my senses were suddenly slightly numbed. This started last night, and I can only really describe it as being high, where you're willing to do crazy things (I guess this feeling gives me less judgement too), but it also seems like I'm in a dream. This feeling has been bothering me since I feel like I can't concentrate on anything, except typing this question. I thought it was an out-of-body-experience, but after reading some questions on here, it's not at all what it is. I still feel it. Serious answers only please?
P.S. I've never been high, but I feel as if this is what it would be like.

can understand what this must be doing to your mind right now. there are many ways a person can get the feeling of euphoria and this is one. gives a good feeling and will last for a period of time. suggest you relax and not worry.

You may be experiencing a type of G-d consciousness; as though He is making you aware of Himself. After all, Simcha torah is about Him giving His Word. He has loved you enough to let you experience a taste of what the Israelites felt back in the Sinai Desert when He came down to the mount...

Sounds like you are having a surge of sheer spiritual joy. I know the feeling well and it is like being high. Enjoy it. These times are wonderful. It is a link to the divine.

Feeling high when you're not?

WOW. You just described self-induced religious delusion. "the spirit of the lord is within me" and other such nonsense...

There you have it.
