Many would say that it is morally and religiously wrong! It all depends on who the person is, the reasons behind it etc..
As with every surgery there are dangers, although with plastic, the idea is that most people would go for the cheapest in the market and consequently bringing more problems, such as infection, damage to tissue, deformities etc..
If it is really important to you, then why not?! Everything in life have pros and cons and as long as you are prepared to take the risk, I don't see why any of our comments would change your mind!!!!

There are dangers involved with plastic surgery, which is why you should carefully research your doctor. Look for one with experience and no history of malpractice. He should also be willing to do a corrective surgery for free if an unforseen result occurs. Check out www.board-certifiedplasticsurgeons.com. This is where I was referred to my doctor and I thought that he was great.

i think it's briliiant and has improved the lives of so many people. i'm hoping that procedures will become less dangerous and more readily avaialbe to those who need it and safer for those who choose it. I would have cosmetic surgery if i could afford it but hope that in case of say an accident or illness that i could get plastic surgery to repair any damage.

Any surgery has its risks whether that be wrong is up to the individual or their family,I think it is right thing to do ,if there is a way in which people can improve their lives or give them inner happiness then why not. What if you were to have your features changed dramaticaly through illness or accident Im sure you may want surgery to look acceptable to society.

There are dangers with any kind of surgery, not just plastic surgery. Plastic and reconstructive surgery covers a huge range of conditons and should not be confused with cosmetic surgery.

I feel that it is wrong to change who you are but a lot of people want to. Society puts too much value on looks these days and it ends up with everyone being paranoid. Out of all the people you walk past in a day how many do you think care about how you look? Everyone is too preoccupied with themselves to worry about someone that they have never talked to. Write down the number of people that you remembered walking past today. I'm sure the amount of people you can remember is between 0 and 5 yet you probably walked past over 1000 if you left your house for any amount of time. Don't worry about surgery as only your friends notice you anyway.

it's dangerous because there are never any guarantees. i've heard so many horror stories about surgeries gone wrong, and people having to go get as many as four corrective surgeries. it's gross.
if you're really considering plastic surgery i'd do some serious research first.

There is no right or wrong on the issue. It is a personal decision and what might be right for one person may be wrong for another or vice versa. There are no guarantees in life. Research any decision you are making to ensure you are going into it with all the facts, make your decision and do what is best for you. But don't judge others for making different decisions for themselves.

Depends on the person and depends on the procedure.
I know two people who had it.
one a 20 year old (nose) looked l00% better.
the other a 50 year old total face lift looked 100% better.
So I guess it is basically up to the person.
good luck
