he's not my blood relative...i think me and him are 3rd (or 4th) cousins).
does that sound weird? or has anyone else experienced the same situation?

ok just to clear things up:
1. he's not related to me
2. he's on my uncles side (he married my aunt which is my mom's sister, so not blood realtion to me and him)
3. the 'cousin' i like is my uncle's cousin's son
...make sense?

It is perfectly alright for you to like, date or even marry your cousin's cousin - he is no blood relation to you as his Uncle is married to your Aunt.

Most people are 50th cousins to each other. As long as you are several branches away on the family tree and there isn't much "interbreeding" you should be fine.

No, in many states you can marry first or second cousins. Its a bit weird yes, but whatever floats your boat.

Nothing wrong with that at all. Queen Victoria & Prince Albert were first cousins.

It's not wrong, not weird, and not a problem. If he's not your blood relative, you're even allowed to marry.

its ur cousin's cousin, not ur cousin so technically its cool. it all depends on ur relationship w/ the guy and how close u grew up together. i have 3rd and 4th cousin that i am close to and grew up w/ so the thought of being w/ them would never cross my mind.

stay away from the family tree. if you can give them a label stay away, that's what I say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
