My 1 year old's hands, feet, nose, and knees turn slightly orange after he's eaten carrots, atleast I think that's why it happens.

Very common incidence because of the kertin. No concerns. but I would recommend cutting down on the carrot intake.

yes it is correct that your skin can turn orange from carrots. This as I know has only happened if you drink 2 or 3 glasses of fresh carrot juice a day. I drink this much and it did not happen to me or to my mother, but it did to my father. It is not of course a bright orange and probably would only be noticeable to really fair skinned people. The reason it happened only to him we do not know. And I do suspect if you just cook carrots this would never happen as you would not be eating them everyday as we drink the juice on a daily basis. By the way it did take over a year for this to occur and was only visible on his hands mostly. Therefore you would have to consume alot to really have it make any difference or to make you look like a carrot.(Just a little humor)

definite, you may get an orange hue from each and all of the beta kerotene interior the carrots. Carrots help with eyesight so decrease back for the duration of wars, they might have pilots eat various carrots so they might get greater constructive sight. The pilots had orange-shaded epidermis. i think of I observed this on Mythbusters or another actual tutor.

I have heard of that. Maybe run it by your doctor to make sure it is not something else (jaundice) and cut down a bit on the carrots.

I'd think that you'd have to eat nothing BUT carrots for that to happen.
