TREATS! they are always good, it will let the puppy know that you'll be the one that feeds it. Also some toys so the you and the puppy gain a relationship, that way it wont be so alone and scared. Just remember puppies are curious! Put up anything that would be dangerous for her to chew on. Best Of Luck! You'll Do Fine.

you're naming a puppy "kitty" ? That's cute!
Well, the first thing you need to do is introduce her to your house. Let her roam around and sniff things. Make sure you make it puppy safe though. Take out anything she may chew on if you turn your back.
What do you get for a puppy? How old are you? Are you living with your parents? They should know..
yet.. you neeed...
1.puppy pads for accidents
2. puppy food
3. Lots of toys!
4. bed
5. Crate or puppy house for them
6. lots of water
7. water dishes/food dishes
8. dog collar/leash
9. lots of love

I have heard that a ticking clock will sound like the puppies mothers heart beat. also a hot water bottle(not too hot) will feel like the mothers warm body. I do believe in crates for new animals. Make it comfy with a blanket(not too big)wouldn't want anything to suffocate it.And keep him or her close to you.Lots of attention. First couple of nights will be the worst.Good luck.

I suggest making her feel as comfortable as possible let her know that you are her new mom and that you will take good care of her. Talk to her, and give her a good time for the day. Once she's used to the house and everything then you can start assigning her some house rules. You can also get her some toys and you can play with her. Good Luck!!!

Well, congrats on your new puppy!
What you will need is:
A nice fluffy dog bed and a blanket to keep her warm
Dog food(I would recomend eukanuba(sp?))
Water
bowls
lots of toys
a baby's chewing ring because she will be teatheing
love
shampoo
brush
You have to make sure you have money because she will need a check up soon and they can be expensive!
And that is really all. Good Luck!

Normally they shouldn't leave the mother until 8 weeks. Why so early? I would check with the breeder as to why they want to get rid of this pup so early. There might be problems.
