We had an outbreak of lice in our home. Our pediatrician told us to use lotion instead of the pesticide to treat this. Well, I decided to use the thickest lotion I had to kill the bug and used body butter. However, now I can't get it out! I've tried apple cider vinegar, dish detergent, shampoo, blow dryer. Do you have any ideas as to how to get this out? Thanks!

Wash your hair with strong shampoo and hot water. Many time. If it does not work, have a member of your family wash your hair with dish-washing (machine) liquid detergent, make sure it does not get inside the eyes.

If it gets In the eye, make sure you know what to do , it is on the container.

This is why you need help. You must keep the eyes close, and wash the hair and the eyes good before opening.

Buy a clarifying shampoo, mix a small amount with a tablespoon of baking soda to make a paste. Apply that, allow to sit for a minute, then rinse with white vinegar. Just be careful. This is a very effective way to clarify, but it'll also strip your hair and make it dry. After you've done this, do a deep conditioning.

Shampoo with lots of fresh lemon juice and vinegar mixed. Or call a salon and get advice. Failing that, get your hair cut very short and try not to make that mistake again.

Go to a salon & maybe they can help since they work with hair problems all day long. You tried dish detergent...yikes that would kill my hair, lol. Good Luck!
