Most intelligent and sophisticated women would kick the man's butt for doing so...and I am one of them!
If my husband ever told me that he wanted multiple wives...I would kick his butt so hard that he would never pooh again in his life!
These type of woman who agree with multiple wives are subservient and need to have the man control everything around them. Look at it this way, men have a hard time with one woman, imagine several?

It's stupid...it's away a man can have a big ego. All that stuff about it being okay is b.s. Churches don't except it. It all has to do with having all this power over woman and all those children...Plus alot of them live off of our welfare system too..It's a bunch of bull.....

No. At least not in fundamental Mormanism (which the Church of Later Day Saints does not endorse). It is so a couple is not more devoted to themselves than they are to God.

1Why would a man want to have more than 1 wife? Most of them complain about one so I dont think men could handle more than one!
