He sounds very needy and desperate to be declaring love after two days. I would dump him if I was you. I had a needy partner for six years and believe me it drags you down - just find someone else who is confident and stable who is able to take care of himself as that's the basis for a healthier relationship. And form relationships off the computer as then you'll know eachother better rather than from some typed words on a screen.

You are the only one who can answer your Question...Is my boyfriend clingy. The answer lies it how does it feel to you??? How does his behavior make you feel ? Your Friend who set you both up, ( his last girlfriend ) has already implanted the seed in to your thoughts that he is clingy when she told you, that is how she felt with him. He sounds to me like a person who like to express his emotions...and he was probably taught as a child when someone said I love you a good reply was to say I love you more...I do that with my own daughter sometimes...it's just said in a playful way. If, as you've mentioned you haven't really started dating and he's expressing those deep feelings I understand your apprehension...some people are happy spirits who say I love you alot. If his telling you this makes you feel uncomfortable I suggest you just tell him something to the effect like...I like you and I'd like to get to know you better but it makes me nervous when you say , I love you..to me..Let's be Friends and see what happens! Remember that people are taught different manners of behavior from their family of origin and it sound s like this guy comes from a home that expresses their emotions...

People tend to move into the love/affection part of the relationship when they talk to someone online. I don't see how you can call him your boyfriend when you haven't even spoken to him in person. Maybe you are moving too fast and he is reacting.

he sounds very needy and feels that you want to hear I love you. Hope you are not sleeping with him so that you can get to know him better. It kind of sounds like he tosses the I Love You around very lightly as you would say I Love that dress.

Wow it all depends on how you feel. When you meet him see if he wants to spend a lot of time with you. If you feel like hes not giving you enough space then dump him otherwise pay no attention to other people.

yeah, i have to agree. saying "i love you" only online and only two days into the relationship is a little clingy.
but maybe instead of dumping him, you can just talk to him about it. but if you'd rather not, then let him off easy.

well maybe he has some issue's and ive noticed when men tend to smother women the women tend to freak out and want to get away from that situation . talk to him and tell the things you dont like and he can make a mental note of it .
