I'm all for requiring a language literacy test to gain permanent citizenship in this country. I just think ole chimplips should be the first to take it.

I made that same suggestion in another question yesterday lol .He does tho at least try to speak the language,even if he does make a lot of weird statements that need to be translated in to human speak, for the intelligent .
English is the USAs primary language and all legal citizens should have a working knowledge of it.English must be made our official language here as to clear up any question of our national language.

One of the requirement of citizenship is to learn the English language.
So, learn the lanuage like everyone else had to do to become an American Citizen.
Or, do you want them to lie and cheat and cut in line ahead of everyone else that comes the LEGAL way?

I will not defend bush in the slightest because I think he is an idiot, however, atleast you can understand him. If someone starts babbling something other than American in my face I have not the slightest clue. This is what sets Pres. Bush and non-American speaking immigrants apart.

Agreed. Of course if Bush took it, he'd probably fail it, especially if it had some of those big words on it, like nuke-you-lar. Let the immigrants show him how its done - put him to shame. And let's not forget, all of them are smarter than he is.
