Do you have to wear turtle neck shirts or potatoe sacks to cover all of your chest? Or can you show a little bit of skin just below the collar bone but covering your cleavage?

Suggestions?

There's nothing wrong with wearing clothes that make you look good. But when the clothes you're wearing inspire cat-calls, you should probably cover up a little more. There's a fine line between classy and trashy.

This is a decision each lady must make for herself. I show no more than 2 inches below the hollow of my throat, I prefer to show less, my lower arms, my skirts must come below my knees. I prefer long skirts. I do not judge others attire but I do feel naked wearing less.

Here is the guilines I use:
Standards of Modesty in Dress

Imprimatur dated Sept. 24, 1956

"A dress cannot be called decent which is cut deeper than two fingers breadth under the pit of the throat; which does not cover the arms at least to the elbows; and scarcely reaches a bit beyond the knees. Furthermore, dresses of transparent materials are improper."

The Cardinal Vicar of Pius XII

Hi my name is Breunna and i am a christian woman and i just wanted to stop by and answer your question.
And no, you dont have to wear turtle necks and stuff if you're a christian woman. Its okay to show some skin and not be sinning. You just have to be cautious to not go to far. You have to draw a line some where. For example flip flops, shorts and a tube top is okay. but no cuchi cutters and absolutely no shirts that show everything . thats absolutely sinning. God wants you to respect your body and what you wear determines whether you do or not. and if you dont respect it neither will men.
I hope i answered your question. If you have any more i would be glad to answer them. just e-mail me at tookey_1316@yahoo.com. Bye and have a blessed day!

no cleavage showing and if wearing a skirt, length should cover all your thighs but could be just a tad above the knees (below the knees would be etter!) - that was what I was taught.

How about asking the same for Christian men?

If I understood well, this question is for Muslim women, not for christian women, but I might not be able to understand, coz my English gives me headaches.I know Muslim women have to cover their body, not christian women.

I think if you keep pulling your skirt down, or get offended when someone looks at your cantaloupes, then it's too skimpy. If you feel like a stuffed sausage in your clothes, It's time to go a size higher.

i like it when guys walk around without a shirt on.

well, some guys. unfortunately, the ones who should keep a shirt on are often the ones not wearing one... man-breasts aren't cool.

just dress as if you were with children. what do you want them to see??
but men of course wouldn't like that. men always want all skin showing. well . . . maybe not all, that can be gross.
