The Anti-Christ is an imaginary figure from early Christian myths arising from Roman persecution. Under the stress of being a hunted sub-culture, early communities developed an end-of-the-world cult that talked about an evil satanic figure that would rule the world. It is a common mythological phenomenon for all world cultures that have known persecution.

Nero Caesar was the Antichrist mentioned in the Bible. The Bible says that with knowledge and understanding those alive at the time would know AC, and his number would be six hundred sixty six, not 6-6-6. There is no way that first century Jews and Christians could figure out the name of someone 2 thousand years later. The language of day, I forget if it was Hebrew or something else, was made of an alphabet that was also used as the numerals. By spelling Nero Casesar in that language and adding together the number value of the letters one gets six hundred sixty six-- once again not 6-6-6.
Nero attempted to kill the very first Christians and thereby, strangle the infant Christian church. He came very close to succeeding. That is what made Nero so bloody dangerous.

The real anti-Christ is me. In this material world, I oppose myself and everything in the spiritual realm. ("The flesh opposes the spirit, and the spirit opposes the flesh.") Other people are the same way. It is the human condition. The heart, I have heard, is God's throne, but I don't believe it. "The heart is desperately wicked,,." The best solution to anti-Christ is God; He is greater than the heart. "Seek and ye shall find." (Bible) I found help! In baptism, I have died with Christ and risen with him in his Resurrection, so I am perfect in Him in the spiritual realm (not the material realm). I have loved others perfectly and given my life on the cross. Jesus and I are one.

Thats a good question. I guess you will have to wait for the tribulation to start. To be sure though, you can check when the Temple in Jerusalem is rebuilt and he stands in there with the "Abomination of Desolation".
Matthew 24:15-16 15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Then you can be sure its him!

2 Thessalonians 3:3 states - Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come (the coming of the Lord Jesus) until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness (Antichrist) is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.
also in verse 7 - For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed......

My guess its either Sun Myung Moon or Maitreya (look them up on ur search engine). Both these characters seem crazy enough to fill in the job.
Seriously though no one really knows, otherwise someone would have tried to stop him long ago.
BTW: to those who will say GWB is the anti-christ, isnt the Antichrist supposed to be "smart and cunning"?

ANTI CHRIST MEANS NOTHING MORE THAN BEING AGAINST CHRISTIANITY.
It is simple, those opposing the West, hatred of the Christian West Civilization are the Radical Muslims from the Religion of Islam.
They want as many civilians dead as possible.
Does that sound anti christ to you?
