Mine is a split A/C system. I bought it only 4 months before. It has now started to leak water inside the room. How to fix it? is there any quick fix method that I can do before calling the service men?

Water is leaking inside my room from the front of the air conditioner. Why is it doing this? The evaporator coils on the front of the air conditioner create water, which normally goes through a drain system to the back of the unit where the water is evaporated away. In this case, the drain is probably plugged and the water is running towards the front instead of the back and leaking out. This is another sign that it is time to bring the a/c into a repair shop for a full cleaning.

This may be one of your non-helpful answers, but when mine was leaking, I repositioned the unit to tilt back at a sharper angle...the water needs to drain somewhere, and this action did solve my problem.

Make sure it is tilted down to the outside of the window, so that moisture can drain outside.

Sounds like moisture is not draining or draining into the roo.
