Hi everyone who took the time to read my question thanks in advance. I'm trying to find studies or any article that deals with prenatal vitamins. I'm also trying to find anything on insufficient vitamin E during pregnancy can increase a child's risk of developing asthma or article that says otherwise. If you do can you please tell me. And one more thing the source must be validated.
Thank You. if you want to email me anything my email address is Trinbagonian4life@yahoo.com

Here's an article about prenatal vitamins. I don't know if it's what your looking for though.

You can always ask your doctor for some literature on prenatal vitamins, I'm sure he/she will be more than happy to help you out.

you should try going to a college/university near you...usually they have subscriptions to medical/research journals (which are valid sources)

there is a study done by Graham Devereux and colleges on low vitamin E intake during pregnancy and how it is associated with asthma in 5 year old children (he also did a previous study in wheezing in 2 year olds associated with maternal vitamin E)

You can find that in the American journal of respiratory and critical care medicine 2006 (or i can email a copy of it to you....i have a subscription)

there is also a study done by Rada Boskovic and Colleges concluding that vitamin E in high doses doesn't increase any risk for major malformation in births.

that one is published in reproductive toxicology 2005. which i can also email.

if you want more information on prenatal vitamins...you really need to be more specific (i.e. vitamin E and asthma) if you want scientific studies. you can get summarized information about prenatal vitamins from non-profits or other organizations if you are wondering because you are pregnant and want to know the benefits. but if you are writing a paper or something, you'll need to be specific in your searches to what kind of vitamin and what particular effect such a vitamin has on the fetus (positive or negative).

hope this helps... let me know if you want copies of the articles emailed to you. (kathryn.schuler@gmail.com)
