He was one of the drafters of Prop 187 which passed but was overturned by a court and never appealed.

The current petition would amend the California constitution to deny in-state tuition and non-federally mandated benefits. In addition, it would require the state to defend it against court challenge AND WOULD GIVE CITIZENS A RIGHT OF ACTION TO ENFORCE IT.

Good for Dick Mountjoy ! Lets hope you legal Americans in Cali support this and other anti illegal laws.After all, it affects you as citizens, directly.

Never Appealed? Makes me wonder right there.

It seems many State's need to do something-and some have.
I hope we do something about our problems because I'm beginning to feel like --We can't win. We can't break even. We can't even quit the game. And it is one petition after another. But not much being done.
Thanks for the information-I can watch and try if nothing else.
