So, he already has a job offer and has his H1b visa? I am sure his US company can give him guidance. Too bad you can't go with him. Would you like to move here with him? I'm curious where he's moving to.

Illegal or legal? If he's illegal, he needs to stay put and start petitioning to come over legally, not only will he never have to worry about deportation but he will also qualify for better and higher paying jobs when he gets here. If he's here legally well that really depends on what he likes to do or what he's trained at. Good luck!

Nothing can restrict him if he is legally entitled to work. But mind it the immigrant in US are monitored closely.

Does he have his immigration applications and documents and medical certificate in order? Does he have the financial means to support himself?

Has the United States accepted his application or is he coming in cargo container?

Did you kiss him goodbye, because you will probably never hear from him again. He'll remarry and forget about you and enjoy his new family in America.

find adequate housing, get a good alarm clock , learn how to drive,stay away from bars and hookers get a phone so you can be in touch keep up with the regulation afforded to him by immigrations

Learn to speak English. That's the language that is spoken here and if he wants to be successful, he'd better know how to speak the correct language.
