WHEN I AM SICK I WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE, BUT CALL HER LATER JUST TO LET HER KNOW YOU ARE THINKING OF HER TO OFFER HER ANYTHING, SHE MIGHT NEED FROM THE STORE SO SHE DOESN'T HAVE TO LEAVE SOUP, MEDS ETC. DON'T OVERDUE IT THOUGH, SHE IS SICK.

Five weeks...how do you feel about her? Are you ready to see her in her worst possible condition? Do you think she is also as endeared to you?
Tough spot. I would start either way with get well flowers delivered not in person but to a window or patio door area. You might sneak them in yourself.
She will recover, see them and there you go.
Don't call a lot or fuss over her if you're not sure of your true feelings toward her. Like most people - when we're sick...leave us the *blank* alone! Many women do so appreciate a man who understands this fact.
Five weeks - it's either splash right in or leave her alone with your thoughts and your flowers.

I think u did the right thing. Showing care and concern and offering your assistance if she needs it is really all u can do. If she has a computer u could send her a get well card and when she is feeling better and goes online she will recieve it and I think she will be touched just knowing u were thinking of her.

Well you could just go over without her coming right out and asking and make her some chicken noodle soup and make sure she has some Motrin for her fever.

bring her some soup, have flowers delivered send a card just anything that makes her see you want to go the extra mile...you don't have to but it sounds like you want to so go for it but don't bother her off and on all day she needs her rest..another thing you could do is to offer to do any errands she had planned for today..the dry cleaners, dishes ,groceries, mail etc

I think you did the right thing. You offered help. You don't want to bombard her with too much attention. If she really needed you to be there she would have told you so. Then again, maybe her personality is such that she really wants you there but does not want to burden you.

About all you can do for her is to let her know that you're there for her if she needs you; sounds like you've already let her know that, otherwise, maybe call and check on her later on tonight!
