Well I just found out the girl I have a crush on plays the guitar just like me. I was thinking if I go talk to her during lunch with her friend and bring this up it can give me a reason to visit her house. And we can talk and have a good time alone. Is this a bad idea to go to her house before I decide to ask her out?
If it's a good idea how would I go about bringing up if she plays the guitar or not in a conversation with another person there.
Please no answer like"So doesn't anyone play an instrument"
Any help is appreciated!

your best bet is to stay wise. If you care about her, truly listen to whats she says and do not be too eager to just go to her house because you have an attraction or you "like" her. Build trust first, I would never trust anyone to come to my house the week I meet them. She probaobly feels the same way. Ask your friend to help you by first getting to know her friends.Take it in small strides.
Patience is avaluble asset, if she has the same interests then listen to what she says. If it's genuine, you will not be disapointed.

First of all, make friends with her friend/s, then tell them ur interest in guitar and that u play well........this news will definitely reach her....and her frnds will also tell u of her guitar interest.
Then , make frnds with her....share ur interest with her......talk bout ur common interest.....and so on.
Then , if for practice or so, she ask u to come to her house, go there, else dont go without her asking.
If possible, u can invite her to ur place for practice.....then move on to going out together alone......
After that, u dont have to do anything....things will work out themselves.
Don't rush....proceed in a stepwise manner.....but hurry up to make frnds first!

Hey you both like music.... what is so hard about it. one musician to another...
Have her friend introduce you and have her say, hey______ this guy plays guitar too. You guys have alot in common.. And let it happen... Don't waste you time worrying, get talkin to her so you guys can make great music together......
