We all have a certain set of rules set for us to follow inculding you the Atheist. You, I and all of us must have some guidlines to live our lives, or it will become a choas. Christian are no slaves to God, as the Muslims to theirs, the Jews, the Hindus the Budist etc. If you believe abiding by what you think is right makes a slave, then you as w waitress is a slave to your own job as well. You work every day taking order from people, you boss etc. and if you don't do them then you will lose your job. What makes your life so different from those who believe in God! only that you don't believe in a higher being, and thus believe that you have complete control over your life. Well my dear, take a second look, you might find that you don't. And Yes your friends are right, as from your question you are kooky. You think you are correct everyone else is wrong.

let me give you a spin on evlution that may change, or put a bit of questioing in your mind. Suppose that the evlution that explains our beings, and how we the Earth the Universe for that matter has a bigger player that is making these things happens, an entity that is doing all the works behind the what the eye can see. Suppose God is the one who caused all those changes to happen to the creation! what would you say about it! would you believe the possiblity that God may be the one who is doing all that, only you can't see it! have you ever seen the Adam split! No, yet you believe in it. Have you seen how the world was created! No. Yet you also believe in it. Then, how can you not believe that there is the possibiltiy there is a power that you and I can not see that has the power to do all that! possible! Everthing is possible. What if after you pass on, and you discoverd you are wrong and there is much more to life after we die, what would you do! is it over for you! or is it just th beginning! and would you still rather be in the ground, be food for Earth, and whomever is walking on top of it, they could be Homosepien, or another creation evloved from us!? possible! from the way the Atheist think. it is possible, and us the Homosepien one day will evolve to another creater! and then what will become of you.

Too many supposed. But that is the idea of it. There are too many supposed, and when it comes to Atheist , it is open and shut case, no more discussion of the possiblity of God.

My dear you are missing a lot. You want an answer, but in reality what you want to hear with your big and open ears that you are correct and there is no God. Then, sweety, that will not happen.

I used to be an agnostic before I became a Christian because even though I didn't believe in God since you can't see Him I knew that the universe didn't make sense because logically there shouldn't be anything here. I mean, how can things have just always existed? Doesn't that sound spooky when you think about it? The universe is just this big unfathomable mystery stretching back into all eternity and there isn't any reason for it being here it just always was?

Anyhow, as my life continued on and I didn't really see any purpose to it I got more and more despondent because I didn't think that I mattered or that anything else really mattered in the cosmic scale of things. That's when God arranged circumstances in my life that after I became homeless and ended up in a rehab program for veterans I went to church one day and heard the gospel message for the first time.

All I had planned on doing was sitting there quietly and then leaving but as my future Pastor was preaching I realized that every thing that he was saying was making sense. Then when he asked the congregation to stand I looked down at my watch and said to myself "Cool! It's time to get out of here." But then he started talking about Jesus and asking if anyone there didn't know Jesus as their Savior. He asked if we were interested in receiving unconditional love and forgiveness for sins and then he talked about receiving supernatural guidance for our lives. That was it for me. I knew that I needed all of those things so when he asked people to come to the front for prayer I went up and asked Jesus to come into my life.

Since that day my life has been slowly changing for the better. It has been less than 5 years but now I serve in several ministries and work full time for my Pastor's radio ministry. All I can tell you is that it was the best thing that has ever happened to me and Jesus said that if anyone comes to Him he will in no wise cast them out. If you want to hear my Pastor you can listen to him @ http://www.oneplace.com/ministries/enduring_truth

If you want to see some passages from the Bible that talk about getting saved with some commentary on starting a new life in Christ you can click on this link. http://contenderministries.org/romanroad.php

I hope that today is the day that you begin a new adventure and find out that there is a divine purpose for you being here on earth and that you have a creator who loves you and who wants to spend all eternity with you, in Jesus' name, amen!

You can Only be a slave when you choose to be. Would you embrace any human with love while not seeing their age, ethnic, disability , status and culture ? If your answer is Yes.. I see no greater act in it compared to all man made religions. Seek your heart to "Love All and Serve All" then you might experience what I'm saying.

Never conclude my explanation as the thruth. Challenge me and seek your experience by your Choice and no other. Have a Nice Day

It's simple,

Just like it says in John 3:16

John 3:16-For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Believe Jesus Christ died for your sins
Believe Jesus is God
and
Repent to God for the way you've been living your life and mean it in your heart.
and

Its that simple,no einstein questions, no long equations, no 7 page summaries, it's simple!

Matthew 23:11-But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.

Luke 2226-But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

God doesn't want slaves, He instead wants to set us free from the slavery of selfishness. He also doesn't like religion. You don't have to scrub toilets in the church for God to love you. You have such a misconception of God and Christianity. I'd be glad to talk to you, and answer your questions, just email me.

look . . . there is nothing I will say to convince you that you need God. You seem to have a calling of some sort. THe bible says that God's people are chosen. He picks who he wants to save. Anybody who thinks they can save you (or that you have anything to do with your own salvation) is full of crap. According to Ephesians 1:4 we are predestinated since BEFORE the foundation of the world. If he did not choose you, then you are not and wll not be a child of God.
If you are chosen of God then he will call you when it is your time to be called.
Ephesians 1:4-5 states "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5) Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Romans 8:29-30 also talk about being chosen . . Listen . .
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30) Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, he also glorified.

However, that being said he wants for his children to be a slave to others, not to the church building, or to cruisefixes. If you are one of his called and are lucky enough to be chosen by him, then you need to serve others, and not the religious society.

We are to love our enemies, and do good to them which hate you, bless them that curse you. But, the churches do not do this they say that they love you. Try going into the heart of the downtown city area and showing love. That is what God wants. Woe unto you when all men shall speak well of you!

Your ears may be big and open to listening, but the Bible says that those that have ears, let them hear. do you hear with those ears or do you just deny all that you are being taught??

If you are truly being called, then you need to stop and listen. God will talk to you. No one can save you save God himself. If you want it, let him. When he is ready.

Reject religion, it is crap that leads to confusion and lies. Cling to God and he will send his spirit to teach you all things.

I will check back and if you need to talk further just list it in your question and i will let you know how to contact me. i throw out 500-600 spam emails a day, so that is not advised. or you may list a contact method for me and i will contact you.

Good luck in your search and may God lead you and your big ears to hear what you need.

Over the years, I've met many leading scientists and other intellectuals who not only believed in God, but told me they had concluded it was far more logical to believe in God than to disbelieve in Him.

Why did they come to this conclusion? One reason, I discovered, was because they had an open mind, and were willing to examine the evidence for God and weigh it carefully and honestly. Can you say that about yourself—or is your mind closed, because you aren't willing to change it? Only you can answer this, of course—but I challenge you to be honest with yourself, and be open to the possibility that God does exist.

But many of those men and women came to believe in God for another reason: They examined the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, and came to put their faith and trust in Him. You see, Jesus made the most startling claim imaginable: He claimed to be God in human flesh. He boldly declared, "Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father" (John 14:9).

Was His claim true? Yes—and the reason is because Jesus did something no one else had ever done, or ever will do: He died and three days later came back to life. Do you want to know what God is like? Look at Jesus Christ—and when you do, you won't only discover that God exists, but that He loves you and wants you to be part of His family forever.
We can never be saved because of what we do; we can only be saved because of what Jesus Christ has already done for us. Let me explain.

Our greatest problem can be put in one word: sin. Sin cuts us off from God, and sin also keeps us out of heaven. But how can we get rid of our sins? We can't erase them or cause them to disappear by ourselves; we don't have the power. The only way we can get rid of our sins is for someone to come along and take them away for us.

And that is exactly what Jesus Christ did for us. We are weighed down by the burden of our sins—but Jesus took that burden upon Himself when He died on the cross for us. To put it another way, He took the punishment we deserve when He went to the cross in our place. The Bible says, "For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God" (1 Peter 3:18).

What must you do? Simply believe that Christ has taken away your sins, and then receive Him into your heart and life. The Bible's promise is for you: "To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:12). Become God's child today by asking Christ to come into your life.

If it is only Christianity you are asking to be convinced of (if possible), I'd just forget the whole thing.

Have you looked into Buddhism? It is a philosophy, not a religion, not G-d oriented, and you can really be an Atheist and follow Buddha.
