While I think that meditation can probably do a lot for you, communicating with angels and gods isn't going to happen, simply because there is no such thing.
I'd recommend concentrating on bettering yourself instead. There just isn't any nice little shortcut to enlightenment, no matter how many people try to sell you on various products and ideas that suggest otherwise.

Oh there is another dimension out there and spirits alike. I too have come in contact with deceased people. Just not in the christian represented way.

for various reasons ... no i do not believe it is possible with angels
they may of course hear you .. but to communicate would be difficult
spirit are quite different though :o)
