Well I have found this camera on Amazon.com and I thought well it seems like an a afforable and good kind to get som I'm thinking of getting it b/c I'm kinda on a budget since I'm a poor college girl.lol.Anyways I need some advice on if it's a good kind to get...or if it's a piece of junk and breaks easily.Anyone have one that can tell me?? I BELIEVE my brother has that same camera. If it isn't exactly the same, its very similar. Its a good camera if you're just wanting to have fun with it. The quality isn't professional grade or anything. I don't believe it breaks easily, but then again my brother has only had it for a month or so.
What you could do, is go to a store that carries that camera and check it out, decide if you like it. Then if you do want to get it (and if it costs more at that store) buy it on Amazon. :-)

That camera should serve your basic needs. JVC makes pretty good cameras, and if you want cheap than miniDV is definately the way to go. I don't know what kind of stuff you're planning on shooting with this, but I major in film and we use JVC cameras at school (though much higher end, professional DV cameras).
for a consumer level camera, that should be good for you.
