This is one of my family's favorite dessert. My daugher makes it at least 3-4 times a year. It is often requested for birthday celebrations.
Hot Fudge Sundae Pie
1 box Vanilla wafers
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup chopped pecans
8 perfect pecan halves
small jar hot fudge ice cream topping warmed
Line a pie pan with whole vanilla wafers flat side down and line side of pan also. Layer a 1/2 of a1/2 gallon of softened vanilla icecream over the wafers. Drizzle with warm hot fudge and sprinkle with chopped pecans. Top with remaining ice cream, heaping in middle. Place 8 pecan halves around edge of pie so that when you cut the pie everyone gets a pecan. Use Redi whip and pipe concentric circle of whip cream or be as fancy as you want. Drizzle with warm hot fudge. Freeze until firm. Serves 8 normal people or 4 teenagers.
This is good using different topping and ice cream. My favorite is butter pecan ice cream with carmel topping mmmm goood!

I was cooking at 12 also and boy it was fun except for all the dishes and such. Anyway my favorite dessert that I could share with every one was Pineapple Upside Down Cake.
1 any brand Yellow Cake mix
1 1/2 C Brown sugar
1 can Pineapple rings, if not rings chunk is ok
1 small bottle of cherries
1 cup confectioners suger
3/4 cup pineapple or lemon juice
Ok, you ready? washed hands?
In a 8 X 8 glass baking dish coat with cooking spray or butter
Did you turn the oven on per the instructions on the box? Good
Press the Brown sugar into the dish lightly
Place the Pineapple rings or chunks next, all over the sugar
How many cherries you want, put them in between the Pineapple.
OK, now mix the cake per the instructions on the box and pour it over the contents of the dish, slip it into the oven. I'll be back when it's done...................
WOW! smells good, it's cooled for about 30 minutes.
Here comes the fun part, get a toothpick or something like it and start pokeing holes into the top of the cake, not to big.
Mix the Confectioners sugar and which ever juice you have, it just dawned on me, you could use Apple juice too, any way pour the mixture over the top of the cake and let it seep in for a half hour.
Now take a big plate and put it over the cake and flip it. Oh my!
One thing I've always noticed was for some reason before I served ANY dessert to my friends or family some of it was missing, hhmmmm, wonder what happened. If you choose to try this I hope you and your family really enjoy. Have fun and keep cooking.

When I was your age, I used to love looking through cookery books to learn new recipes, and fire my foody cooking imagination! So I'd definitely recommend doing that to you. But here's a delicious scottish dessert for you which I learned to make when I was your age.
Fruit Crowdies (Cranachan)
100g (4 oz) dry oat meal (medium or fine)
500 ml (1 pint) whipping cream
250g (8 oz) raspberries (fresh) or other berries
honey to taste
Preheat the oven to 180 C, or put the broiler on medium. Put the oatmeal on a metal tray or baking sheet, and smooth it into a thin, even layer. Toast it for 10-15 minutes, or however long it takes to be lightly browned. It can burn very easily, so be vigilant, and take it out as soon as it's done, then put it aside to cool.
Add the honey to the cream, stir it in, and whisk until it's stiff. Add the oatmeal and stir it through gently with a cold metal spoon, so that it's evenly dispersed throughout the cream. Try not to eat the whole lot now, as it's so delicious and more-ish you'll probably want to!
Wash and dry the raspberries (or other berries), and layer with the cream mixture in serving glasses/dishes. Finish by decorating with a few berries.
Enjoy! And keep cooking - it's not only very handy to be able to do, there's a real feeling of accomplishment that comes with knowing you've made something delicious that other people are enjoying. Who knows? In 15 years, you might be a top chef!!

Pistachio pie is super easy!
1 can (about 15 oz.) crushed pineapple
1 pkg. Jello brand pistachio pudding mix
1 12 oz. container of Cool Whip
1 pre-made graham crust (like Keebler)
Put the pineapple in a large bowl, sprinkle the pudding mix over it and stir. Wait for 10 minutes (it will turn green, that's normal). Fold in the Cool Whip until combined, and dump in the crust. Put it in the fridge for a few hours.
Enjoy!

Hi Sierra! If you want something that is kind of healthy, try this. Get a large bowl. Then get about 16 oz of plain yogurt and 2 or 3 bananas. Chop up the bananas and mix with the yogurt. Sprinkle about 3 tablespoons of sugar. Enjoy.

Chocolate covered strawberries.
First, melt chocolate (any kind) in the microwave. (dont burn it)
Take it out in 30 second intervals and it must be on 50% power.
When almost done, stirr until creamy.
Prepare strawberries and dip them into the chocolate.
Use knife to flatten the chocolate.
Store in freezer until ready to serve.
This dish recipe can be used for bananas, oranges, or cherries
