That sounds like you've been asked at a job interview.

You don't normaly refer to 'support projects', because it's a bit of an oximoron.

Usually a piece of work is either a project or support. Within projects, it may be an implementation project (implementing a new system), upgrade (upgrading system) or some other type of project.

So the important difference is the type of work. An implementation project forces you to analyse business processes and design a solution, while support just forces you to resolve problems with the current design.

So employers will often ask you about your implementation experience, since a larger skillset is required than on support work.
