It's not bad at all, providing you can afford what you spend. Also that your children are appreciative.

I don't think spending tons on kids all year round is a good idea though as it doesn't teach them the value of things or that sometimes the most simple and free things can be the best.

Your mother probably has a point or she would't be saying what she is saying. Maybe she feels that the kids are over indulged!!! Do they really value the items that they are receiving??? Where are the items 1 week after Christmas, or even 2 weeks??? Are they using them??? Or are they cast off in a corner??? Something to think about!!! All the best to you and Merry Christmas.

no it is that u love yo kids and you want the best for them like every mother wants for her kids so do not think that is bad but u also should tell them what the meaning of christmas is and that they should be grateful of what they got ♥

IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT GO FOR IT!!!! MAYBE MOM IS A LITTLE PUT OUT CUZ SHE COULDN'T DO THE SAME FOR YOU WHEN YOU WERE YOUNG?? OR SHE FEELS LIKE SHE'S COMPEATING WITH YOU, TO BUY FOR HER GRANDS!! AS LONG AS THEY KNOW WHAT CHRISTMAS IS TRULY ABOUT, YOUR FINE!! ALSO, THEY WON'T EXPECT, OR NOT APPRECIATE YOUR GIFTS WHEN THEY GET OLDER!!

I used to do the same, I can tell you now STOP. As they grow older they will start expecting and stop appreciating the gifts

If you can afford it why not! Moms are always critical about something... luckily it's something so innocuous with you.
