unfortunately i dont think there is an easy answer to this one - just lots of exercise - sorry! a good combination of cv and resistance work should do it as you will burn some of the fat alongside toming up the muscles. mosy gyms offer something along the lines of a session called 'thighs, bums and tums' which targets these specific areas - so give it a go!
good luck x

First of all congratulations, sorry to hear you had to have an emergency carerean.
Your body is still recovering so let it, don't do anything too strenuous. Five months is not long to have lost your ledge has you callit, it takes time. As soon as you can go swimming, if there is a creche put baby in have some me time getting yourself back in shape.

You probably need to give yourself a bit more time. Eat sensibly, drink tons and tons of water, and do gentle exercise. Walking is great. Stick baby in pushchair, and off you go. Don't do too much at one time, but build it up over time.
After another 7 months, if you are still unhappy, take up Ashtanga Yoga. Do it every day.

Well, when I had a cesaerian I had a similar problem!! However, I found that by doing pelvic floor exercises it really helped to get rid of my excess fat. In addition following a healthy diet I got back to a size 10!!

there really is not to much you can do for an excess amount of skin, if it is just a little pooch, sit ups, and 300 a day for 15 years.... to keep the skin from coming back, no joke, litteraly a shhhhh****t load. If the skin is to much, nothing will bounce it back except for a tummy tuck, its sucks, but, thats wunna the perks of having kids! =\

If it's fat, then it'll have to burn itself away. I find that not eating works wonders. I just don't eat all day, and then eat once in the evening, with a couple, or so, of something to drink. for a week. The difference is marked. Takes two ar three days to get into the swing of it.

Eat Healthy, Excercise frequently and just try to generally live a healthy life style! Try yoga or go to swimming or water aerobics! My friend had the same problem and with attending her yoga and going swimming 3-4 times a week! she has noticed a difference and so have we!

you could try getting a pilates dvd or going for tummy toner classes at your local gym but i find the best way of getting rid of fat permanently is to slowly and gradually lose weight while doing between 20-30 minutes of strenuous exercise twice a day everyday

It's pretty tough to get back to your pre-pregnancy body. Rather than flounder around aimlessly trying things, go see your physician, who can probably recommend other professionals. You always want the opinion of someone who has seen YOUR problem time and time again. Do not try to self diagnose!
