Humans should not be born with biblical knowledge. If you had something automatically implanted in your brain at birth, you would probably never be able to make your own decision. While your parents' religion plays a key factor in deciding your religion, at least eventually you are still free to make up your own mind whether you believe in God or not.

Yes, humans are animals, specifically of the genus Homo and the species sapiens or "Homosapiens." As for conciously connecting to our inborn instincts, that would be a resounding "no". An instinct, by its very nature is subconcious or "an inborn pattern of activity or tendency to action common to a given biological species". Do we have instincts? Sure! Just look at a new-born baby nursing on its mother's breast. No one taught it how to do that.

Hi,
Actually.....we are.
WHEN you read the bible, it clearly says that God has written it upon each mans(womans) heart HIS LAWS. *SO THAT ALL ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE.
**SOME CALL IT-OUT CONSCIENCE. IT IS KNOWING THAT ITS WRONG TO "EAT YOUR BROTHER OR SISTER" YOU KNOW...CANNABOLISM..ANOTHERWORDS-EVEN IF/WHEN THEY DONT HAVE A BIBLE, DEEP DOWN INSIDE THEY KNOW ITS WRONG TO KILL AND EAT ONE ANOTHER.
OR WITH THE RECENT ASKED QUESTION ABOUT THE 9 YEAR OLD/MARRIAGE THING. PEOPLE KNOW THAT IS MOST LIKELY WRONG IN ANY SITUATION. AN VERY OLD MAN TAKING A VERY LITTLE GIRL....WOULD BE WRONG FOR THE CHILD.
*ANYWAYS, ALL FOR NOW-Godbless you as you seek the truth-LIVE4TRUTH http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/1054/1054_01.asp

We do have instincts, and no, not everyone follows the bible. That would be forceful, and never be accepted in this day and age.

Explain how this is possible, please? I do think we may well have an inborn morality, but how would actual Biblical knowledge occur?

I think knowledge removes the need for faith. You need to beleive - not know he exists.
