As a Christian Pastor I want other people to respect my thoughts and beliefs.
How can I, in clear conscience, expect that from others if I'm not willing to show them the same?

To answer with a question, what if their beliefs break the law of that country, or even seem morally wrong

Nobody should "ram" their personal beliefs (I like how you put it) down anybody's throat.

I don't feel that there is something wrong with trying to change people, but I guess that FORCING your belief onto someone else is wrong. So I guess my answer is that you are right and wrong.

Yeah I think we all would get on much better, if people had their own beliefs, and everyone else just accepted we were different from each other.

Of course you're right. But even Christians try to shovel it sideways down your gob. How many times have those bloody JW's knocked on your door?

We all believe different things. My beliefs are obviously different to yours. I can recommend mine and I'll explain them to you if you wish, but I won't ram them down your throat.
Now will you please show me the same courtesey.
