about me being a guy.. the answer is , hey why not.. is it wrong for a guy to adopt when he knows, he can give the best for the child.. and the matter of me getting a wifey first shouldnt be reasoned with, my fren..

Dont necessarily mean that u got a wifey, u can take care of the child bettr, or that me being a single male, couldnt give the best for the child i wanna adopt..

i have money, time and love.. isnt that enuf.. btw, i have plenty of time to find for the right women after i adopt the baby rite..

Single parents can adopt from some countries but not from others. It depends on that particular counties international adoption requirements.

Also, most countries require that you are atleast 25 years old when starting the process.

You will have to find a RELIABLE adoption agency, getting yourself a lawyer will be in your best interest. The adoption agency will help you get started with the preadoption process.

There will be a series of things you h ave to do, such as, a full medical exam complete with TB and HIV testing, a home study where you will learn about the adoption process and the phsycologoical effects on both parent and child. There is also a home check where a social worker will come and evaluate you, your home, your job, and check all your references.

In most cases you will be required to travel to the adoptive country for atleast two weeks, where you will file paper work on that end, perhaps meet the child, and prepare for the actual adoption. In some cases this is a preliminary trip, and you will return in a couple months to actually retrieve your child.

From the adoption point you will return home, set up things like doctors visits, social secutiry cards and birth certificates, and every few weeks or months for a little while a social worker will check in on your progress and the welfare of the child.

The whole adoption process for international adoption usually runs the gambet of 25-30 thousand dollars start to finish. Some companies, and even the federal government, provide intitiatives and breaks for people who adopt, slightly lowering the cost.

Malaysia actually has no adoption agencies, all adoptions are handled directly by their government.

I included a link that should atleast help a little.

The first step you should do is sign up to be a foster parent. They take almost anyone. Do that for a year or too just to build up your reputation that you are responsible for a child. The you can adopt a child. Now the chances of you a single male a newborn infant is extremly rare. Why? Because there are hundred of couples that want the same thing you want. It would be so much easier and more rewarding for the child if you adopt him/her at a toddler age, around 3
I think you can be a great parent even if your a single male. You can do this just keep your head up and dont let anyone tell you differently.

I have never heard of a male adopting an infant before.

Good luck. But do you have the time? Babies are a lot of work and two parents often have a hard time. Never mind just one.

Maybe you should find a wife first.

Contact your local health department/adoption agency and get the guidlines for your country. They might let you.
