My first day in my first job... well, I felt that everyone was looking at me like the clueless guy in the office. I knew that was going to happen, so I decided to ignore the fact and work giving the best of me to learn fast about the mechanism of every-day work in that office.
Be patient, be polite, smile! The way you feel about yourself is the same they look at you.
Be self confident but hear suggestions, don't pretend you know everything... they will ask you for suggestions to you as well, because some people will like to know your thoughts.
There is always a leader, a clown, and a servant. Please don't be any of them the first days, but get to know them... helps you control the situation in the new office.
About girls... they will approach if interested, if not, they will do it eventually to get to know you. they are the first people in an office to help you to know others.
Avoid any medication... just trust in your self.
Good luck!

My first day was the day before yesterday. i know what you are going through. (i have worked before bur not for quite a while)
Just remember that they are people too. it wont be as bad as you think it will. give it a week, if you still cant cope with it , go talk to someone.
they wont expect you to be an expert on your first day or for that matter until they get the next new guy.
